With religious assembly banned many years ago, the question becomes, “What to do with all those churches, mosques, synagogues and temples?”. Some resourceful bureaucrat figured it out. Remove all the religious symbolism, give it a spiritual theme (cloud imagery and meditation music) and turn it into a mausoleum; a digital one, of course. The result is a cross between a  library and a house of worship.  In the 22nd century people still die, albeit almost entirely by suicide or accidental, catastrophic injury.
